Lecturing compliance
Thanks to Lara Pair I had the pleasure recently to lecture to the participants of the GSEM MBA course at the University of Geneva. The agile audience did engage from the start in lively interaction and discussions. This allowed me to turn their negative prejudices on compliance into views on the potential benefits and advantages.
Together we drafted the job profile of the ideal compliance officer. The participants contributed expectations such as “giving clear answers”, “being a role model” or “being perceived to be an enabler”. They now have the tool at hand to set up the ideal compliance function in their future positions.
